    A WEST Bridgford woman has been fined £600 for dropping litter. Megan Owen, 38, of Spinney Close, left a cigarette end in Strelley Road Co-op, Nottingham, on November 27 last year.  The case was proved in her absence at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on May 13. She was also ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and costs of £226.

    POLICE are appealing for information about a buck-toothed teenager after a robbery in West Bridgford. Two women were walking on the nature reserve on the Compton Acres estate when they approached by two teenagers. The pair spoke to them before pushing them to the ground and stealing an MP4 player.     JONATHON Crabtree, 34, of Wallis Road, Mansfield, was fined £300 for drink-driving in West Bridgford.  He pleaded guilty to being over the limit in Wilford Lane on April 13. He had 87 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.  The legal limit is 35. Nottingham Magistrates' Court issued a victim surcharge to pay of £30 and costs of £85. A driving ban was imposed for 17 months.

    PAUL Loft, 34, of Abingdon Road, West Bridgford, is to stand trial at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on June 5. He denies assaulting a woman in West Bridgford on March 10. He is remanded on conditional bail.

    A REWARD of £2,500 has been offered after a treasured VW Campervan, pictured, was stolen from a garage in West Bridgford. As previously reported in the Post, thieves took the distinctive van, known as Lizzy Beth, in the early hours of Wednesday, March 20.
